Book of Faith

We just formed a Book of Faith group at First Lutheran in downtown Cincinnati. The very idea of a Bible discussion is new to most of the members of the congregation. However, there are two or three young adults who have shown interest in engaging in a discussion of current issues in the church, especially the recent Assembly Statement on Sexuality. These young adults have opinions. I suspect the rest of the congregation does too but they are not used to discussing issues. Does anyone have ideas how to engage such a group and what resources to use? I have been asked to co-ordinate the Book of Faith Initiative and would appreciate any advice.
Blessings!
