New members class
When new members join the church we have a child from the congregation give them a bottle of water to remind them of their baptism. We have a youth give them a candle to remind them of the light of Christ. We have an adult give them a cross to remind them of eternal life and we place a bible in their hands if they don't have one to give them the word of God. We try to make this an inter-generational celebration of faith and welcome from the entire congregation.
