Living day by day
Not knowing what to say
To those who are in pain
Stuck in the rain
Hoping day by day
That love will find a way
And leave this war behind
And be kind
Going day by day
Down the path that's laid
Running, running fast
From the past
Suffering day by day
From sins that make us pay
Past transgressions made bright
Things not right
Saved day by day
By the God who gave
Jesus who brings elation
Eternal salvation
