Book of Faith

Is your congregation participating in the initiative? If so, in what ways? If not, is there a particular roadblock?

Individuals have joined the Book of Faith in our congregation and we have even introduced it through our Sunday school program, but I feel it's necessary to get leadership "on-board" so that it becomes something we see in bulletins, newsletters, and share stories about across the board.
I think it would be a good idea to introduce a resolution at the assembly to encourage congregations to join the Book of Faith and invite households to join as well in the interest of giving tools to and equipping our congregations.
This is also a good opportunity for local congregations to become part of a "bigger picture" and network with others in the synod by joining the group.
