What is most challenging about engaging in Scripture?
Finding the time. And being silent with Scripture. The actual practice of reading is easy, but the sitting and waiting for spirit to move- being still as you think about what you've read, not moving on to the next thing too quickly, taking time to just be with scripture- that's hard.
Share a Bible passage that is especially meaningful to you.
Jeremiah 29:11. It's reassuring to know that when we think everything is falling into chaos around us, and the pieces don't quite fit- God has a plan. And it's a good one.

Ashley, it was a surprise to connect with you at Luther Sem on Tuesday. The planning meeting I was attending for Book of Faith Jubilee in August had ended, and I was busy meeting a number of students at Luther who have come through our youth certification program.
Thanks again for your willingness to take a leadership role in the Covenant Cluster. It is in good hands!

Thanks for your leadership this weekend at the Covenant Cluster Consultation. Thanks for saying yes to being on the planning committee. I was big time impressed with the way you stepped up to the plate and took over as facilitator of the cluster. No mean feat, when the room is full of heavy weights in the ELCA.
