- What is most challenging about engaging in Scripture?
- Inviting the congregation to be more intentional and set expectations. Unless we do so, we do not see the fruits of truly "engaging" in scripture.
In order to learn a language, one must be immersed and fully surrounded by a community who speaks the language. Fluency in a language is not learned in one hour a week. It takes a lifetime of being immersed.
How do people coming through our doors know the importance of opening the book if we don't tell them? Now that's the challenge!
