We did our website through Trivent - no cost, easy to use, you just need to know that their ads will show up across the top. They have an easy option that you could post the weekly readings that the synod has been sending. You could also link to say…

Just wondering...if your husband could take a look at the website I put together and give me a little feed back...before I present it to the council Wednesday. It is more of a sketch for them. But I would appreciate it. It is :

God bless you for the info. I haven't sent up a website since i created mine about 5 years ago.
I am trying to find a way to give some new life to my congregation and get the members reconnected and new ones connect with the long-timers. I have been a member here at Peace-Winthrop for just over a year and sometimes still feel like a newby even with teaching 8th SS, singing with the choir, reading lessons, playing special music, etc etc. I hope to spark some interest in Bible study again.
With re-establishing the website (last entry was 9/25/05) I hope to open communications.
Again, thank you for your direction. God bless you, Garfield Lutheran, and the whole community of Madison. See you at the Synod Assembly next weekend?

I'll pray for you to do the best you can out on the praire and to be able to hear the wind of the Spirit when/if it calls you to such a staffing situation. I can tell you this - those types of calls are vastly different and yet both opportunities to transform and be transformed!

When I served as Asso. Rev. in Annandale we did a Hand in Hand event and implemented lots of stuff in our C, Y, and F work. I've not done much with it in the last 4 years - not programming. I do include faith talk questions each week along with daily Bible Readings in the bulletins. I'll be switching to B of F readings soon. It has forever affected my mindset, though. It's helpful to keep me on the right track with ministry and with my own family.

That's cool.

How have you been connected with the Children, Youth, and Family Institute's work?

Eunice,

My Grandmother (Alma Amundson) and all her birth family (Haugens and Johnsons) were all members of your parish. It's been years since I've been there. I hope to get out there again - maybe next spring/summer.

How long have you served at Garfield?
