Mentor Kick-Off Tonight!
Tonight we begin our second annual Lenten Mentor Ministry. I am so excited to watch students get together with their mentors for the first time! Last Lent it was great to hear the buzz of conversation fill every corner of our church. Pairs of youth and adults were meeting in every classroom, throughout the fellowship hall, in the hallways...I think one pair even met in the elevator!

Alex didn't make it because he was sick with the flu--poor kid; it's the first time he's been really sick in almost three years. I had a previous commitment to drive a hockey carpool to Edina at 5:30 for a 7PM game, but I called and let Nicole know I wasn't going to be there. I'm looking forward to another good Lenten season with the youth and the mentorshhip program and also using the Lord's Prayer study guide.
