Al Buehner said… - Hi Ken, good hearing from you. Sorry to hear about your mother. Hope she does well. I'm sure she will. I fell and broke my hip a year ago January and had the same procedure. It was a long rehab. I was in for over a month and then outpatient. Long haul! I'm not sure our delegation will be meeting before the assembly. Synod is so short of funds that hardly anything is happening. I guess we'll see if we meet in Minneapolis before the assembly. I may contact the bishop and ask. I've expectged we would meet. We're arriving on Sunday and will be at the Marriott. Have a good day. Al

- I'm glad I'm retired. Not sure I would be able to get everything in that I have to do and work. I do not envy you for what you need to do for the conference + assembly. You can always prepare as you go at the assembly. By the time both events are over you will have seen enough of Minneapolis for awhile. We'll be starting a bible study in Sept. in Romans using the new material. Looking forward to that. Currently we have 9 who have commited to participate. We're taken the group from those who live in the same zip code. Hope you not only have a good day, but a blessed on and you work through all your preparation. Al

- We just got back from a wonderful weekend with two of our seven grandchildren. It was a the synod's camp and the first time an event like this was done. It was a good experience. We took one of our daughter children and the youngest of our son's daughters. Have a good day.

- Thanks for your comment. I have not checked. Frankly, this is all new territory for me. Plus my computer is acting up and getting slower by the day. Hope you're having fun in Canada plus a good conference.

Things have gone south with my mom's house, and I am desperately trying to complete my final project for my grad class. I need all the inspriation I can get!

It's Lori from Lord of Life. I am new to this 'process'. I am not sure what to expect from or give to this process, but I am open to it. Tha k you for inclusing me. I am desperately seeking a closer connection with God thropugh my Lutheran faith.

- Hi Ken! I haven't been on the internet all week asa Audreys health is failing rapidly now. She is incoherent 99% of the time and can't use a walker any more. God is calling Her home more and more each day.
