This is the presentation I ran at Assembly. It doesn't show up well if you go to "full screen" mode. Hope you enjoy it. Peace Lisa

I too am interested in what you will present in both - I have about the same set up for my Assembly meeting. 3-5 minutes of plenary time and then conducting two one hour workshops called "Book of Faith: Scripture Isn't Just for Sundays". I am very…

It's great to see some of our congregations starting to chime in on their experiences with Book of Faith. I started this discussion as a place for us to share what works and what doesn't. At Emmanuel we did Mark Allan Powell's video series "How Lut…

Thank you, Lisa. We've been waiting for more materials and knew some should be out soon. We had to go ahead and pick something else for the Easter season, but will look at the new materials for summer or maybe fall 09. Our congregation really liked…

Hi Lisa,

Yes, Ken Dugan is a member here at St. Andrew. He is trying to get the Book of Faith going here. We just used the Lenten Journey book. I don't know if he knows about this site. I will tell him about it the next time I see him.

Lisa,

I'll send you an email with a power point master slide attached that should help you with your preparations for synod assembly. This is a great idea, by the way. Make sure you share the finished product with the other Synod Advocates!

I was wondering about that...but then I figured maybe that's how we got numbered. Thanks for your help in correcting it!

Hi Lisa,

Internship's still going well--I hit the halfway point about a month ago and am having a great time. How's the Book of Faith work going in your congregation?

Lisa,

Thanks so much for your interest in the Jubilee. I posted some additional detail to the event page. We are particularly excited about Eugene Peterson's participation.

Hi Lisa,

I'm at Resurrection in Fredericksburg. I do not know if anyone registered us as a BoF congregation. How do I find out? How do I register?

Thanks,

Eric

Lisa,

How are you planning to use the individual assessment tool?

http://www.bookoffaith.org/Docs/Documents/Assessment_Tool.pdf

It would be neat to have an on-line version for folks to fill out and gather the responss by congregation.

Blessings,

Lisa --- here is a comment from our marketing group at Augsburg Fortress for you:

I would point Lisa to this page.

http://www.bookoffaith.org/Resources/Pages/book_of_faith_logotype.aspx

If she is looking to use these in print and is looking to enlarge them as she describes, I would recommend that she use the EPS files - those should enlarge with great detail and are formatted for use with print. The JPEG or GIF formats are formatted for web use only and will be of bad resolution if you try to enlarge them. The TIFF files will also work if the EPS doesn’t.

If I understand correctly you need high resolution Book of Faith Icons. Let me look into that potential and report back to you.
