"The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:28-31.

Hi Patrick:
I'm the Synod Advocate for SE Minnesota, and we are planning our Book of Faith presence for the Synod Assembly May 1-2. I'm wondering:
-Does AF have some promotional materials available for Book of Faith?
We are looking for something for a display table (posters etc.)
-We would like to distribute book marks with BFI logo, and have a drawing for Lutheran Study Bibles. Would AF have these to give away?
Thanks!

Welcome, Patrick. I don't know where you were in your picture, but I want to go there!

Hi Patrick:
Glad to see you and welcome you as a BF friend. Are those the Cliffs of Moher?

Got my poets mixed up; I meant Yeats's grave. Wrong poet, wrong country.

The first time I went, with my daughter, we missed the Ring because we got lost but whenever we got lost we saw something we might otherwise have missed, like an international horse show with young riders. But the GPS system is probably a good idea. On my last visit, my son , grandson and I visited the ancient dolmens at Carrowmore and Keats's grave at Drumcliffe. Ah well, one can go on forever about great places to go in Ireland; I'd better get to work.

I've missed the Ring of Kerry so far; on the agenda for my next visit. I think you can't go to Ireland without immediately planning to go back. My great-great grandmother grew up in Kerry near Dingle Bay.

My attention was caught by your picture near the cliffs of Moher and next by your Irish name, so just wanted to say hello. I've been there twice and hope to go back.
