Hi Tobi --

I can do a little arm-twisting to see if we can get Bruce on board ... . I'm hoping that we can get the instructors to join in, also.

And Nels converted the LSM logo for me! Hurray!!

Shalom,
P. Kay

I tried to get the ELSM logo as the picture for the Eastern Lay School of Ministry group, but I didn't have it as a .jpg so I couldn't insert it there.

Do you happen to have the logo in that form? Or in another picture format? I cannot import an image from MSWord.

I think if you can send it directly to me -- attached to an e-mail -- I can get it onto the BoF Group as our "image".

Thanks,
P. Kay

Yes you can Tobi, especially because you know that they are involved in building biblical literacy at Christ the King. After you do though, let them know that the church is signed up. It is a time thing and also a "fear" thing for those that don't use the computer much.

Tobi: Love your page! Why don't you sign up Christ the King as a Book of Faith Congregation? Go to www.bookoffaith.org and become part of the initiative" link.
Also join the East Central Synod of WI group and let the converastions begin!

Tobi,
FYI - we are trying to encourage folks to use the acronym BFI rather than BoF, due to negative meaning of the latter.
I'm excited that you and others will be at the Covenant Cluster Consultation in Feb. BFI will be a key component and I think Diane Jacobson will be there!

Tobi,
Welcome to the BFI website. As Darlene observed, we are still working at getting folks to actually get involved in the site. Seems as if it has all the potential of something like Facebook - but since the demographic is a bit older...:)....
we are not as adept at having active online conversations!
But those of us pictured with grandchildren can ramp it up a bit!
Will you be attending the Covenant Cluster gathering in February? Sure hope so. This one will be excellent when you think about ways the BFI can impact your lay school. I recall that Darlene is thinking of coming as well.
Blessings to you and the entire team at East Central.

Tobi: I love the picture and I am so glad you are on this site! You need to browse through the site and check out the ECSW Group which has been a silent group but trying to get it going as new people join. Would you also make sure your church becomes a BOF Congregation just by signing it up? Darlene

I haven't seen one, but then I haven't looked for one either.
