Thanks Tonia. St. Luke is ramping up for a major small group and adult ed program centered on BOF. We set this year's ministry theme as, "Bible, our first language of faith." From that all else will flow. First piece was to do a daily e-devotion to the congregation based on the daily lectionary. That has bew very well received. Feel free to give me a call and we can chat about how the small group model is being developed. Right now I am going full blast, so can't really take the time to write it up, but I'm happy to have a conversation with anyone that is interesed. I'm very eager to hear how other congregations are moving forward. Perhaps at Convo some of us will have a chance to pick each other's brains.
I take my time own personal time searching the word of God and studying hard in bible, so that I can present the perfect word of God to my Adult,in so doing the adult are little bit easy to work with, because they know between right and wrong, so the first things I do is to ask one of them to open our's teaching with prayer.I give them time to ask me guetions, and I give them thier answer, and I also ask them too, and they reply me with answers.IN this way of teaching them, They are always happy to attend class again the next sunday. this is how I'm trying to handle them in my little understanding, but I'm also will to get more information on how to take care the Adult.I'M teaching in the United Lutheran Immigrant Ministry At first Lutheran Church Chapel. If you guy have some materials that will help me to uplift the in my ministry. I will appreciate that, because our church is just coming up,and we do not have money yet to buy these books for our's kid and adult.
Befored teaching them, I aways start with the word of prayer that will call thier attention to fully focus on the the lesson.Secondly I begain with how God love the liltle children and bless them.I even tell them, that were soevery they go, God aways protect them, And when they come in the house of God, He want them to be silence, and I begain with this song, that say's Jesus love the liltle children, all the children of the world, yellow, black and red,Jesus love the litltle children ofthe world, And they will all be excited and happy to continuel the few hour with me, Then I start to teach my small lesson I have for them.

I'm still waiting for my copy of Opening . . . to arrive. Glad it's helpful. I'll also find the Region One group and join in.
