Thanks for sharing and for attaching the PDF, Linda. One story a week is an amount that many people can fit into their schedules. Best of luck and godspeed.
Thanks for the welcome, Trent. I'm enjoying the conversations that abound here. I have also tried starting a network for my church. But now I can't figure out how to get to it! I forgot to invite myself, was that necessary? I set it up as a private group and sent out a few invitations. Can you help me find my group? Thanks!

Trent, you are such an encourager for everyone! And now I see you are employed by AF - some of my favorite people hang out there!
Thank you and your colleagues for all your efforts and creativity with Book of Faith. The new Bibles for every age are such a fabulous contribution.
If you have time to watch the videos I posted (Part I & II - they are each about 9 minutes long) they capture people at Gr. Canyon Synod assembly telling how they are using the Augsburg resources in their congregations. Some great accolades for the AF resources.
thanks for the welcome Trent;
I havnt any video of our band as of yet (working on it) Am hoping to use book of faith as a source for vetting the songs and material we use in our contempory service. our bands name is Portico we are made up of all volunteers. You know the usual suspects doctors, factory workers, architects, students, and even a lawyer!
We try to share the Gospel in a modern yet faithful to Lutherism style.
Anyway I am looking foward to the book of Faith studies!
I haven't written for them for 8 years or so. I write fiction and have 3 million books in print. I just finished my 42nd novel writing for two traditional publishers so they keep me busy. I'm also pursuing a new publisher for a different kind of novel. God has blessed me with this second career. I'm also a speaker and I teach writing Christian fiction all over the US at writers conference and that's time consuming. By the way, I'm a cofounder of American Christian Fiction Writers. We began with 6 of us in 2000 and today we have nearly 2000 member. Amazing. Another of God's blessings.
Hi Trent. Thanks for the welcome. I actually did VBS materials for Augsburg in the late 1990s when I first began writing for publication. When my fiction took over, I slowed down on those projects. I still write for Contemporary Drama Service when they ask me to do a project. I have a great working relationship with them over the past years. Nice to be asked and not have to submit a proposal.
My website is www.gailmartin.com I'm a speaker and workshop presenter across the US as well as an author.

Hi Trent!
I am not the web coordinator (because sadly I have no computer knowledge and I'm lucky if I can get my wireless internet to even work half the time) but I am the Book of Faith intern (focusing mainly on promotional efforts) at Luther Seminary with ELCA - I just read the e-mail from Chad introducing you, and congratulations on your internship! I have a feeling I'm going to make you one of my new best friends this summer so prepare yourself!
Book of Faith is an ongoing initiative of the ELCA that will grow and develop—including resource options for you and your congregation. Be the first to know about upcoming resources and sign up for Book of Faith resource eUpdates.
