Book of Faith

I have been enjoying my new devotional booklet..."If God is my Strength, Why am I still tired?" It was written by Maggie Hilmer...a physical therapist who is also a caregiver for her husband (a pastor) who has Parkinson's Disease.
If you know any caregivers...this would be a wonderful gift to them! You can order it from Creative Communications for the Parish. www.creativecommunications.com. (You could order a lot...they are only 77 cents!)
As a full time caregiver, the title got my attention...it made me laugh. The scriptures chosen, and Maggie's thoughts weave together very nicely. There are helpful hints for the caregiver included. And of course each devotion closes with a prayer.
The closing line of the section on "Count Your Blessings" is..."Thank you for your countless blessings, even the ones that seem so hard to count. Amen." I love it!
