Thanks, Chad, for sending the video/emergent church link. We don't have video capability, so we'll either use a group or a blog. We hope to start in the next week or so. God's Peace, Kev

I appreciate the welcome. I have been a Christian and Lutheran all my life, but at age 76 I feel I still have a lot to learn. Looking forward to the programs and words that are available.

Thank you for the welcome. Like others, I was invited by my pastor Ron Glusenkamp. I've been involved in Bible study from the Lutheran perspective my entire adule life, first Bethel Series as a teacher and then Crossways! as a teacher -- many times. Like Ron, I am a "company man" and I appreciate the ELCA initiative.

Chad, I have been asked to help lead an online Bible studay and I wanted to use the opportunity to introduce folks to the Book of Faith Initiative. I am reading the first book and the four sample studies in there. Do you have any experience with online Bible study? This is new territory for me, though I am familiar with blogs and instant messaging.

Chad,

Thanks for the welcome. I was invited into the community, by a former church member and friend Ron Gluesenkamp. I just returned from being on vacation, and need to catch up at work. Sometime this week, I shall spend more time on here, and finish up my profile. Be Blessed to be a blessing!

Thanks, chad. I'm just starting to learn Ning -- I guess it's pretty much like Facebook? I'll be poking around more and learning as I go. Do you know any other churches that have set up Ning or some other social software for their own congregation to use?

Thank you Chad. I am slowly getting the hang of this program. The immediacy of communication is exhilarating.
